How it works
Define your shed. Preview it. Build the model.
Open Add-Ins → ClickBIM → Shed in a Revit project. Select the project families and types, then work through the building, framing, grid and opening settings.
Configure the details
Choose portal-frame members, purlin and girt layouts, offsets and opening positions. Import supported PDF, DOCX or TXT documents and review extracted values before applying them.
Preview and generate
Review the building definition, then generate the corresponding model in the open Revit project. Save the definition for reuse and check the resulting elements before issuing drawings.

Adjust. Preview. Generate again.
The first generation is not the end of the workflow. Refine your building definition, review the change preview and apply another generation in the same Revit project.

Change the definition
Adjust geometry, framing or openings as the design evolves.

ClickBIM compares the definition with its tracked generation and previews affected phases.

Generate again
Affected phases are regenerated; unchanged phases are skipped.
Tracking applies to ClickBIM-generated elements, not every change in your project. Regeneration can replace affected elements and overwrite manual edits. Review the preview and back up your model.

What buildings is ClickBIM designed for?
Single-storey portal-frame sheds with gable or mono-pitch roofs, such as workshops, warehouses and agricultural storage buildings.
Do I need Autodesk Revit?
Yes. ClickBIM is an add-in for Revit 2024–2027 on Windows x64. Open a Revit project and use suitable families and types for generation. Autodesk Revit is licensed separately.
Does it perform structural engineering?
No. ClickBIM automates modelling. You remain responsible for checking geometry, members, connections, drawings and compliance with your project requirements.
How do I start the trial?
Install ClickBIM, open its activation window and start the 14-day trial on an eligible device. Activation and periodic licence checks require an internet connection.
Can I reuse a building setup?
Yes. Save and reopen building definitions. Supported document imports let you review candidate values before applying them; they do not automatically approve a design.
